VEERA IN TAMIL
நமது சாலைகளில் பாதுகாப்பை உறுதி செய்ய மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு அங்கமாக, சாலை விபத்துக்களில் சேதமடைந்த வாகனங்களில் சிக்கிக் கொள்பவர்களின் உயிரைக் காப்பதற்கு, ஒரு தனித்துவமான மற்றும் முன்னோடியான முயற்சியாக மீட்பு வாகனம் ஒன்று உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இந்த முயற்சியானது இந்தியாவிலேயே முதல்முறையாக திட்டமிடப்பட்டு, மாண்புமிகு தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் அவர்களால் இன்றைய தினம் தொடங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது.
இத்திட்டமானது, சாலை விபத்தில் சிக்கிய / சேதமடைந்த வாகனங்களில் சிக்கிக் கொள்ளும் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட நபர்களை, தேவையான அனைத்து உபகரணங்கள் மற்றும் நன்கு பயிற்சி பெற்ற காவல் குழுவினர் உதவியுடன் மீட்பதற்கான ஒரு முன்னோடி திட்டமாகும்.
இந்த வாகனத்திற்கு “வீரா” (VEERA – Vehicle for Extrication in Emergency Rescue and Accidents அவசரகால மீட்பு மற்றும் விபத்துக்களிலிருந்து மீட்கும் வாகனம்) எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த முயற்சியானது ஹூண்டாய் குளோவிஸ் மற்றும் இசுசூ மோட்டார்ஸ் பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் ஆகிய நிறுவனங்களுடன் இணைந்து மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் கார்ப்பரேட் சமூக பொறுப்பு திட்டமாகும்.
மேலும், தமிழ்நாடு நெடுஞ்சாலைத் துறை மற்றும் மெட்ராஸ் இந்திய தொழில்நுட்பக் கழகம் ஆகியவை இந்தத் திட்டத்திற்கு தங்களது நிபுணத்துவம் மற்றும் பங்களிப்பை அளித்துள்ளன.
சென்னை தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில், சென்னை பெருநகர போக்குவரத்து காவல்துறை சார்பில் சாலை விபத்தில் சிக்கியவர்களை விபத்துக்குள்ளான வாகனங்களில் இருந்து மீட்டெடுக்கும் பணிக்கான “வீரா” (VEERA Vehicle for Extrication in Emergency Rescue and Accidents) அவசரகால மீட்பு மற்றும் விபத்துக்களிலிருந்து மீட்கும் வாகனத்தின் பயன்பாட்டினை கொடியசைத்து தமிழக முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் தொடங்கி வைத்து, காவல்துறையினரின் செயல்முறை விளக்கத்தை பார்வையிட்டார்.
VEERA IN ENGLISH
As part of the initiative to ensure safety on our roads, a rescue vehicle has been developed as a unique and pioneering initiative to save the lives of people trapped in vehicles damaged in road accidents. This initiative is planned for the first time in India and was launched today by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
This project is a pilot program to rescue victims of road accidents/trapped in damaged vehicles with the help of all necessary equipment and well-trained police personnel. This vehicle is named as “VEERA” (Vehicle for Extrication in Emergency Rescue and Accidents). The initiative is a corporate social responsibility project in collaboration with Hyundai Clovis and Isuzu Motors Pvt.
Also, Tamil Nadu Highways Department and Indian Institute of Technology, Madras have contributed their expertise and contribution to the project. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin flagged off the use of the “VEERA Vehicle for Extrication in Emergency Rescue and Accidents” on behalf of the Chennai Metropolitan Traffic Police at the Chennai Headquarters.
