SMILE SCHEME IN TAMIL: சமூக நீதி மற்றும் அதிகாரமளித்தல் அமைச்சகம் பிப்ரவரி 12, 2022 அன்று ஸ்மைல் (வாழ்வாதாரம் மற்றும் நிறுவனங்களுக்கான விளிம்புநிலை தனிநபர்களுக்கான ஆதரவு) திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது. அமைச்சகம் ரூ. 2021-22 முதல் 2025-26 வரை திட்டத்திற்கு 365 கோடி.

SMILE SCHEME IN TAMIL: SMILE (வாழ்வாதாரம் மற்றும் நிறுவனத்திற்கான விளிம்புநிலை தனிநபர்களுக்கான ஆதரவு) இன் இரண்டு துணைத் திட்டங்கள் – ‘திருநங்கைகள் நலனுக்கான விரிவான மறுவாழ்வுக்கான மத்தியத் துறைத் திட்டம்’ மற்றும் ‘பிச்சை எடுக்கும் செயலில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளவர்களின் விரிவான மறுவாழ்வுக்கான மத்தியத் துறைத் திட்டம்’ – திருநங்கைகளுக்கு விரிவான நலன் மற்றும் மறுவாழ்வு நடவடிக்கைகளை வழங்குகின்றன.
இது IX மற்றும் முதுகலை வரை படிக்கும் திருநங்கைகளுக்கு அவர்களின் கல்வியை முடிக்க உதவித்தொகைகளை வழங்குகிறது.
இது PM-DAKSH திட்டத்தின் கீழ் திறன் மேம்பாடு மற்றும் வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

காம்போசிட் மெடிக்கல் ஹெல்த் மூலம், தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மருத்துவமனைகள் மூலம் பாலின மறுஉறுதிப்படுத்தல் அறுவை சிகிச்சைகளை ஆதரிக்கும் PM-JAY உடன் இணைந்து ஒரு விரிவான தொகுப்பை வழங்குகிறது.
‘கரிமா கிரே’ வடிவில் உள்ள வீட்டு வசதி, திருநங்கைகள் மற்றும் பிச்சை எடுக்கும் செயலில் ஈடுபடும் மக்களுக்கு உணவு, உடை, பொழுதுபோக்கு வசதிகள், திறன் மேம்பாட்டு வாய்ப்புகள், பொழுதுபோக்கு நடவடிக்கைகள் மற்றும் மருத்துவ உதவி போன்றவற்றை உறுதி செய்கிறது.
ஒவ்வொரு மாநிலத்திலும் உள்ள திருநங்கைகள் பாதுகாப்புப் பிரிவின் ஏற்பாடு, குற்ற வழக்குகளைக் கண்காணித்து, சரியான நேரத்தில் பதிவுசெய்தல், விசாரணை மற்றும் குற்றங்களைச் செயல்படுத்துவதை உறுதி செய்யும்.
தேசிய போர்டல் & ஹெல்ப்லைன் திருநங்கைகள் மற்றும் தேவைப்படும் போது பிச்சை எடுக்கும் செயலில் ஈடுபடும் மக்களுக்கு தேவையான தகவல்களையும் தீர்வுகளையும் வழங்கும்.
துணைத் திட்டம் – ‘பிச்சை எடுக்கும் செயலில் ஈடுபடும் நபர்களின் விரிவான மறுவாழ்வு’ – கணக்கெடுப்பு மற்றும் அடையாளம் காணுதல், அணிதிரட்டல், மீட்பு/ தங்குமிடம் மற்றும் விரிவான மீள்குடியேற்றம் ஆகியவற்றில் கவனம் செலுத்தும்.

SMILE SCHEME IN ENGLISH: Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment launched the SMILE (Support for Marginalised Individuals for Livelihood and Enterprise) scheme on February 12, 2022. The Ministry has allocated Rs. 365 Crore for the scheme from 2021-22 to 2025-26.
Target beneficiaries
SMILE SCHEME IN ENGLISH: The umbrella scheme is set to provide welfare and rehabilitation to the Transgender community and the people engaged in the act of begging.
Benefits of the scheme
SMILE SCHEME IN ENGLISH: The two sub-schemes of SMILE – ‘Central Sector Scheme for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Welfare of Transgender Persons’ and ‘Central Sector Scheme for Comprehensive Rehabilitation of engaged in the act of Begging’ – provide comprehensive welfare and rehabilitation measures to the Transgender community and the people engaged in the act of begging.
It provides Scholarships for Transgender Students studying in IX and till post-graduation to enable them to complete their education.
It has provisions for Skill Development and Livelihood under PM-DAKSH scheme.
Through Composite Medical Health it provides a comprehensive package in convergence with PM-JAY supporting Gender-Reaffirmation surgeries through selected hospitals.
The Housing facility in the form of ‘Garima Greh’ ensures food, clothing, recreational facilities, skill development opportunities, recreational activities and medical support etc. to the Transgender community and the people engaged in the act of begging.
The Provision of Transgender Protection Cell in each state will monitor cases of offences and to ensure timely registration, investigation and prosecution of offences.
The National Portal & Helpline will provide necessary information and solutions to the Transgender community and the people engaged in the act of begging when needed.
The sub-scheme – ‘Comprehensive Rehabilitation of persons engaged in the act of Begging’ – will focus on Survey and identification, Mobilisation, Rescue/ Shelter Home and Comprehensive resettlement.
