BIOLOGICAL DIVERSIY ACT 2002 IN TAMIL: பல்லுயிர் மரபுத் தளம் என்பது உயிரியல் பன்முகத்தன்மை சட்டம், 2002 இன் பிரிவு 37 இன் கீழ் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு தனித்துவமான பாதுகாப்பு அணுகுமுறையாகும். பல்லுயிர் பாரம்பரிய தளங்கள் காட்டு மற்றும் வளர்க்கப்பட்ட உயிரினங்களுடன் வளமான பல்லுயிர்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளன;
உயிரியல் பன்முகத்தன்மை சட்டம், 2002 இன் பிரிவு 37 (1) இன் படி, மாநில அரசு, அவ்வப்போது உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகளுடன் கலந்தாலோசித்து, பல்லுயிர் முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த பகுதிகளை பல்லுயிர் பாரம்பரிய தளங்களாக அதிகாரப்பூர்வ அரசிதழில் அறிவிக்கலாம்.
இதுவரை நாற்பத்து நான்கு (44) பல்லுயிர் பாரம்பரிய தளங்கள் பதினாறு (16) மாநிலங்களால் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்த தளங்களின் விவரங்கள் இணைப்பில் உள்ளன.

பழங்குடியினர் துணைத் திட்டம், வடகிழக்கு மலைப் பகுதி மற்றும் பட்டியல் சாதி துணைத் திட்டம் போன்ற திட்டங்கள் மூலம் விவசாயிகளின் விதைகள் மற்றும் நிலப்பரப்புகளின் விதைகள் உள்ளிட்ட தாவர மரபணு வளங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பது குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை இந்திய அரசு ஏற்படுத்தி வருகிறது.
விவசாயிகளால் அடையாளம் காணப்பட்ட 233 சாத்தியமான பல்வேறு வகையான பயிர்கள் பண்ணையில் சாகுபடி, மதிப்புச் சங்கிலி மற்றும் சுய உதவிக் குழுக்கள் மற்றும் உழவர் உற்பத்தியாளர் அமைப்புகள் (அஸ்ஸாம், இமாச்சலப் பிரதேசம், ராஜஸ்தான், உத்தரகண்ட், உத்தரப் பிரதேசம் உள்ளிட்ட ஏழு மாநிலங்களில்) சந்தைப்படுத்தல் மூலம் பாதுகாக்கப்படுகின்றன.
மேலும், தாவர வகைகள் மற்றும் விவசாயிகள் உரிமைகள் ஆணையம் (PPVFR) சட்டம், 2001 இன் பிரிவு 39(1) (iv) இன் கீழ், PPVFR ஆணையம் ஆண்டுதோறும் விவசாயிகள் (கள்)/விவசாய சமூகங்களுக்கு விருதுகள், வெகுமதிகள் மற்றும் அங்கீகாரங்களை வழங்குகிறது. தாவர மரபியல் வளங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளது.
தாவர ஜீனோம் சேவியர் சமூக விருது ஐந்து விவசாய சமூகங்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படுகிறது மற்றும் ஒவ்வொரு விருதும் ரூ. 10.00 லட்சம் மற்றும் ஒரு சான்றுடன்.
தாவர ஜீனோம் சேவியர் விவசாயி வெகுமதி பத்து விவசாயிகளுக்கு வழங்கப்படுகிறது மற்றும் ஒவ்வொரு வெகுமதியும் ரூ. 1.50 லட்சம். தாவர ஜீனோம் சேவியர் விவசாயி அங்கீகாரம் இருபது விவசாயிகளுக்கு ரூ. தலா 1.00 லட்சம்.
BIOLOGICAL DIVERSIY ACT 2002 IN TAMIL: இதுவரை, 41 தாவர ஜீனோம் சேவியர் சமூக விருதுகள், 67 தாவர ஜீனோம் சேவியர் விவசாயி வெகுமதிகள் மற்றும் 84 தாவர ஜீனோம் சேவியர் விவசாயி அங்கீகாரம் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

BIOLOGICAL DIVERSIY ACT 2002 IN ENGLISH: Biodiversity Heritage Site is a unique conservation approach recognised under the Section 37 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002.
Biodiversity Heritage Sites have rich biodiversity with wild as well as domesticated species; high endemism; rare and threatened species, keystone species, species of evolutionary significance, wild ancestors of domesticated/ cultivated species; fossil beds; cultural, ethical or aesthetic values for maintaining cultural diversity, with or without long human association with them.
As per Section 37 (1) of the Biological Diversity Act,2002 the State Government may, from time to time in consultation with the local bodies, notify in the Official Gazette, of areas of biodiversity importance as Biodiversity Heritage Sites.
So far forty-four (44) Biodiversity Heritage Sites have been notified by sixteen (16) states. The details of these sites are at Annexure.
The Government of India is creating awareness on conservation of plant genetic resources including seeds of farmers’ varieties and landraces through the schemes like Tribal Sub-Plan, North-Eastern Hill Region and Scheduled Caste Sub Plan.
A total of 233 most potential varieties of different crops identified by farmers are being conserved through on-farm cultivation, value chain and marketing involving Self Help Groups and Farmer Producer Organizations (in seven states including Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh) by National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources – Indian Council for Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
Besidesabove, under section 39(1) (iv) of the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Authority (PPVFR) Act, 2001, the PPVFR Authority annually confers awards, rewards, and recognitions to farmers (s)/farming communities who are involved in the conservation of Plant Genetic Resources.
The Plant Genome Saviour Community award is awarded to five farming communities and each award amounts to Rs. 10.00 lakhs along with a citation.The Plant Genome Saviour Farmer Reward is awarded to ten farmers and each reward amountsto Rs. 1.50 lakhs. The Plant Genome Saviour Farmer Recognition is awarded to twenty farmers with Rs. 1.00 lakh each.
BIOLOGICAL DIVERSIY ACT 2002 IN ENGLISH: So far, 41 Plant Genome Saviour Community Awards, 67 Plant Genome Saviour Farmer Rewards, and 84 Plant Genome Saviour Farmer recognition were conferred.
